Gingerbread Houses!!

It's starting to feel more like Christmas time! It has only snowed a little and it doesn't stay like it does in Idaho:( I can't wait to go to Idaho! It is just really cold here! I wish it would snow more!
We have put up what little Christmas decorations we do have, but our house is slowly getting emptier with moving, so it looks a little bit lame ha.
Classes are almost done for me! I only have one final to take next week! Jon still has lots to do. He still has class like usual and he's still got all his finals. Poor guy... We are both ready to be done with school right now!
This last weekend, my mom came down with her friends and we all went to lunch! We had a lot of fun and mom had lots of fun hangin out with Ava. I went shopping with her and her friends afterwards, and I wasn't planning on it, and the shoes I wore were real high heals...My feet were killing me!!

The girls at lunch!

Last night me and Jon made a gingerbread house to get in the Christmas spirit:) It was a lot of fun! The frosting started getting hard to squeeze out, so we kind of gave up..so our gingerbread house is kinda ghetto! But we had lots of fun:)

Putting rocks around our ice skating rink:)
All the yummy candy!

Our rock path! I love this the best~ it's those chocolate candyies that look like real rocks!
After we decided to give up, I just dumped lots and lots of powdered sugar everywhere so it looked like snow:)

Great News!!!

WE ARE MOVING!!

So a couple Sundays ago, Jon and I decided to go on a drive up and down the neighborhoods around here. The houses are really cute and I like to do stuff like that. Go look at old houses and wish I could live in a big old cute house! haha. So as we were driving we saw a for rent sign and we thought what the heck so we called. There are TONS of houses for rent around there, but this house looked like it had somethin special. The guy called us the next day and told us all about it and we were interested so we went to look at it. I fell it love with it! It is soo cute and they re did everything so the kitchen has brand new everything! So next thing we know, we are moving there! We put a deposit down, we got the keys and we can start moving in whenever! I am SO stoked to get out of this little apartment. It will be so nice not having to climb 8 million stairs! We won't have a great view of the city anymore, but we get a new view of the mountain just up the way! I am so excited I can't even explain it!
We took pictures today but they aren't that great, so pictures will be up soon hopefully!

Thanksgiving Break 09

This break me and Jon went home to Idaho to have TWO yummy Thanksgiving dinners! We first went to Jon's parents for the first and just had it with his immediate family. Then we went to my parents and had another dinner with all my extended family on the Decker side! I was really nice to be able to relax and just be with family. We had so much fun and I am looking forward to having two Thanksgiving dinners EVERY year!

We also got a chance to go snowboarding with Jon's friend Cody. It was opening day at Targhee. The snow wasn't that great but it was good enough for me to be able to get down the mountain and keep up without falling on my butt on the ice! On the last run the boys decided to go up the lift, and instead of goin down we hiked up the mountain! I had a real hard time climbing up that high in deep snow and in snow clothes! We had a lot of fun and I can't wait to hit the slopes again, justas long as we don't have to hike a mountain agiain:)
